The draft program is available here.

We look forward to welcoming to you in our efforts to share and further develop the scientific knowledge base for cycling.

About the Program

The call for abstracts closed on Monday 10 October 2016. We received over 100 submissions for the scientific colloquium, including more than 70 extended abstracts, 20 full papers and a handful of panel submissions. The final program (to be confirmed at the end of April) will include:

  • Regular presentation sessions in which researchers share findings, new theories, and exemplary case studies.
  • Sessions with multiple short presentation, to allow participants to obtain a quick overview of the field and share on-going research and case studies.
  • Panels focusing on contentious and emerging topics to bring together academics and practitioners to confirm and challenge the existing knowledge base, identify research needs, and ultimately inform future research programs.
  • The program will also contain insightful plenary addresses.

Contributions were reviewed by our Scientific Steering Committee and the Scientific Steering Board as part of our aim to offer a program with high scientific rigor.
