After Velo-city 2019 took over Dublin for a week, all eyes are now on Ljubljana and it is already shaping out to be an exciting conference.

Register and Check out the Preliminary Programme

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the preliminary programme and warmly invite you to register for the Velo-city 2020 Ljubljana conference. Join us between 2nd and 5th June 2020 in Ljubljana, Slovenia for a unique week of cycling discussions and knowledge exchange.

With this year’s theme “Smart Cycling Inclusion", the conference will lead the way in defining smart and inclusive cycling environments of the future. Following the submission of more than 500 abstracts from 49 different countries, a programme of more than 60 sessions was tied together. The sessions will expand on the main themes and explore the meaning of smart cycling inclusion from various angles.

Mark your calendar! Early bird registration close on the 4th of March. So, register soon to join your fellow cycling enthusiasts. ECF members and networks will receive updates on how to claim their discount tickets in January.

Explore a Truly Cycling-Friendly Environment

Ljubljana is one of the best examples of a city that ventured to close its city centre to cars dedicating the area to active mobility. In other words, the perfect opportunity for you to experience an inclusive, cycling-friendly environment firsthand, after discussing them all day in the conference building.

Velo-city 2020 offers five different technical visits where you will have the chance to discover your surroundings on a bike. Participation in the Technical Visits is on a first come, first served basis, so make sure to register fast and reserve your spot!
