Pedalafest2018 will take place May 25-27 2018, in a beautiful Art park in central Zagreb, Croatia! It is allready our 4rd Pedalafest, at which we will mark the 7th birthday of Sindikat biciklista, so you can expect a true festive athmosphere!
Pedalafest is a celebration festival of urban cycling culture and sustainable way of living, with a film section, a regional networking section, a poster section, lectures and panels (development of cycle tourism in the region, and health issues concerning traffic congestion) from around the world, exhibitions, a bike kitchen/DIY section, other kinds of creative workshops, stuff for kids, games and silly contests, concerts, dancing, bike polo, critical mass...you name it! Also, it will all be free of charge, open for public, no fees, and with a completely volunteer organizational staff.
Your participation can be a promotion or dissemination point of your projects, as we offer panels, workshops and a poster section. I kindly ask you to send me your availability to participate, and thoughts and ideas about the format of your participation until April 15th, if possible. Costs of travel and accommodation could be covered by Pedalafest, only in the case that your participation is not eligible for financing through your organization. In case of need for a formal invitation letter, let us know.
