About the conference
The
EuroVelo & Cycling Tourism Conference is the leading international conference to inform, inspire and connect on
EuroVelo, cycle routes and cycling tourism. It is organised by the European Cyclists’ Federation in partnership with a host city or region.
Since its first edition in 2012, the event has brought together global experts involved in the transport and tourism sector, including public authorities, tourism officials, cycle route network managers, businesses and tour operators, users and industry representatives, from the hosting country and beyond.
At the beating heart of cycling
This year's edition brings us to
Utrecht in the Netherlands. It is not only acknowledged as the
best cycling city and region in the world but also a place of cutting-edge innovation and research, with a people-oriented focus on health and wellbeing. There is no better backdrop to explore what makes cycling a booming activity and how to grow it further.
As we near the 30th birthday of EuroVelo, this edition also reflects on the interactions between different cycle route networks and partnerships to develop cycling tourism products.
