European Week of Sport has almost reached its culmination, so let’s have a look back at the adventures with MOVEWeek volunteers and ECF’s longtime partner ISCA during these days! This week from 07.09.15-09.09.15 ISCA was represented at the European Week od Sport by having a stand at the exhibition hall as well as by organizing different events for people attending the Sport Village as well as organizing the final event of NowWeBike tour.

The highlights included symbolic map gifting to the Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Tibor Navracsics, BBC interview of NowWeMove Campaign Manager Laska Nenova as well as many great interaction with the people who accepted the challenges prepared by MOVEWeek volunteers.

Wednesday 09.09.15 was a very special day as the NowWeBike team finally reached Brussels and celebrated the end of the very successful tour. The team of NowWeBike that consisted of Feridun Ekmekci, Adnan Çangir and Emel Çalkam had cycled from Turkey to Brussels, Belgium in duration of 48 days and 2681km in total and promoted physical activity along the way with different side events that targeted media as well as regional governing bodies.

The event was also attended by European Cyclists’ Federations Secretary General Bernhard Ensink, who congratulated the team together with Secretary General of International Culture and Sport Association Jacob Schouenborg. The days were great success and encouraged more people to MOVE!
