ECF Board elections 2013: Call for applications
Have you ever considered running for ECF Board membership? If yes, please contact us. As for every run-up to the ECF Annual General Meeting, the Board encourages its members to put forward applications with the view of increasing its diversity. Your experience and technical skills might prove essential in helping ECF to do the right steps in achieving its 2020 goals: Doubling cycling, halving fatality rates!
The ECF Board meets about 4 times a year and examines the financial accounts, the projects, and the tasks of the ECF. It discusses strategies ECF should be pursuing and gives advice to ECF staff.
Due to the ECF statutes changes at the AGM 2012 in Vienna, only 4 vacancies are to be filled this time: that of the treasurer and of 3 Vice-Presidents. The mandate of President Manfred Neun and Vice-Presidents Morten Kerr, Doretta Vicini and Piotr Kuratpatwinski will continue until 2014.
To be elected, you need to be present at the AGM in Bratislava (June 9) and express there at the very latest your interest. However, we strongly advise to advertise your candidacy already beforehand, i.e. by adding your application into the ECF AGM document set that will be circulated 2 weeks before the AGM.
