| Cyclists can now experience the cross-border German/Dutch "United Countries Tour" cycle route with a new guide. The 180 kilometre long circular route between Emsland and the Dutch region of Westerwolde takes cyclists through a landscape of woods, lakes, rivers, and moorlands in the German/Dutch border area that tourists have scarcely discovered as yet. The route guide documents the main stretch with a route-overview and eight pages of maps. Distance in kilometres, pictures of places along the route and notes on sightseeing make planning and orientation easy. Also included is an additional circuit leading from the Rhede to the Fehnkolonie and the harbour town of Papenburg with the famous Meyer shipyard. The route-guide, spiral-bound, contains text in German, English and Dutch and is available for a price of € 5. |
