| 22.01.2006The Cycling, the Slow Food and the Exhibition - Monte Amiata Tuscany |
From our lodge with the name "Le Maciniaie" we organize together with a bicycling team, special bicycling proposals in this beautiful territory. The Le Macinaie lodge is localized in Mount Amiata, an ancient Vulcan that is the highest peak in central Tuscany between Siena and Grosseto town (1400 mt height).
It is with great pleasure that Our team, The Le Macinaie incoming is arranging together with APT Toscana ( The Tourist board of Tuscany), ICE, and Slow Food condotta Siena an artistic and gastronomic event with the name “The Fjords and the Vulcan - Art and flavours through Norway and Tuscany”, from the 09th of May to the 22ed of June 2003.
The event is based on a meeting point for cultures, art, typical and specialized food and wine productions of the Amiata territory. The event is all arranged in the “pyramided” shaped medieval town of Arcidosso in the castle of Aldobrandesco. The castle dates back to the 1221 century and is the pride of the town.
In this period we inform you the possibility to discover the art, culture, the food and wine specialities existing in this well kept part of Tuscany.
You now have the possibility to visit all of Monte Amiatas producers and travel destinations. We wish to give travellers the possibility to discover the beauty of this part of Tuscany.
