The Hase-Ems tour in Lower Saxony is the first cycle route that has had its entire length fed into a GPS navigation device.
The extensive 265 kilometre cycle network can now be explored without maps. The device can be hired out at the start in Osnabrück. From July there will be a further nine bicycle hire points along the route. Before the exploration begins the stretches are fed into the navigation device via a computer at the hire point. The GPS offer will be expanded in July with five more thematic routes along the Hase valley.
