The "Discover Germany by Bike" brochure, published jointly by the German Cyclists’ Federation (ADFC) and the German National Tourist Board (GNTB), presents a host of attractive cycling holidays in Germany. With descriptions of 150 routes and regions, including a number of new additions, the brochure provides a taster of the delights awaiting visitors.
The 2003 brochure is the fourth edition of "Discover Germany by Bike"; it is now 92 pages in length and has a new, enhanced format. A magazine section at the beginning provides some general information on cycling holidays in Germany and particular aspects such as mountain biking or cycling in towns and cities. The brochure also looks at the idea of establishing a Germany-wide network of long-distance cycle paths.
The publishers have paid particular attention to the maps, which now also include references to adjoining routes and regions. Further tips on preparing for a cycling holiday and taking your bike on trains help readers to plan their perfect cycling holiday in Germany.
