The tourist association "Charming Taubertal" in 2005 celebrates the 25 year existence of the Cycle Path "Charming Taubertal -- The Classic", which leads from Rothenburg on the Tauber to Wertheim on the Main. For years it counts among the most popular cycle paths in Germany. On the occasion of the jubilee the tourist association is issuing a special flyer which contains a calendar of the events surrounding the 25 year anniversary of the cycle path. Besides a cycle rally on 19th June 2005 from Bronnbach, Bad Mergentheim, Grünsfeld and Boxberg to the gourmet mile at Tauberbischofsheim there will be a travelling exhibition on the development of the bicycle over the past two hundred years. It will be first shown from 5th April at the district administration of the Main-Tauber District in Tauberbishofsheim. A competition, for which stamps are to be collected at different stations along the cycle path "Charming Taubertal -- The Classic", complements the tourist association‘s offer. The main prize is a one-week bed and breakfast holiday for two people in a mid-range hotel in the "Charming Taubertal". |
