Tip for cycle holiday-makers in Saxony-Anhalt: The Berlin-Leipzig cycle route leads from Berlin across the Flaeming into the tourist region of Wittenberg in eastern Saxony-Anhalt and then continues across the Duebener Heide to Leipzig. In High Flaeming, south of the gates of Berlin, the Berlin-Leipzig cycle route is constructed as a skater path, additional separate skater routes connect here as a circuit. This route system, which by now is known nationwide as “Flaeming Skate”, can also be used by cyclists. The densely wooded, hilly Flaeming with its castles and palaces and small dreamy villages is a cyclist’s paradise. |
