A nature paradise for passionate mountain bikers in every season. And where? In Germany’s largest continuous expanse of forest,in the biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest/Northern Vosges (Pfaelzerwald/Nordvogesen) Nature Park. Under the motto „Protect and experience nature at the same time” a network of paths was created between Neustadt/Weinstraße, Pirmasens and Kaiserslautern that in length and standards can be variably arranged and lets the bikers’ hearts beat faster. Here experienced technology freaks as well as families with children find their dream tour: Tours in a figure of eight between 48 and 74 kilometres in length with further connection variables and altitude differences of 800 to 1,800 metres as well as a single trail proportion of almost 17 percent. Also beginner’s stretch, practice course and cross-country stretches, all are well signposted and (soon) also to be ridden with GPS. |
