PSWE, ECF member in Poland participated in the publication in English of a Green Paper on cycling system development in Pomerania . With much pleasure we would like to submit for public debate the English language version of the Green Paper on cycling system development in our region: Pomerania. Its main message is the claim, that cycling may become an important instrument of development of a region such as the Pomorskie Voivodship. We want to show, that promotion of cycling may not necessarily be associated mainly with spending of public (domestic and international taxpayers') money for the development of isolated cycling infrastructure. The adoption of an integrated, system centred approach shows how cycling may become a generator of revenues and an important instrument reducing costs of region's civilisational development. We would also like to ask daily cyclists to send any comments they may wish to express to the following e-mail address: info@pswe.org. Public dialogue about stipulations and theses included in the Green Paper was the principal aim of the effort we were making during its preparation. We will be grateful for placing it on the websites of your organizations and dissemination of it among other interested parties.
