The EuroVelo Route No 11 is signposted by now in Hungary.
Framed by tours and opening ceremonies the cyclists´ club Tuti led by Károly Buzás signposted the route, more than 300 km, from the Slovakian boarder down to Serbia, following mostly the river Tisza on its dikes, through the romantic lowlands (Puszta) of the country.
The same group will welcome and guide the North Cape - Athens international EuroVelo tour along the Route No 11 in the country from the 24th of July.
The international bicycle ride along the prospective EuroVelo route No 11 from the northernmost place in Europe to Greece. 11 countries in 111 days. 6000 kilometers through Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Macedonia and Greece. The beginning of the ride on May 11, when a midnight sun starts in Nordkapp. The arrival to Greece on August 13, when the Olympic Games start. The end on August 29 in Olympia - the original place of Olympic Games.
