Famed for its beautiful countryside and scenery, Northern Ireland is also a country full of little surprises! From picturesque villages tucked between coves and valleys, to dramatic coastlines and waterfalls… there is so much you can discover by bike.

The many different attractions include the beautiful mountain ranges of the Sperrins and Mournes, both of which offer excellent cycling opportunities along quiet lanes with some of the most spectacular viewpoints in the UK and Ireland. The beautiful lakes and waterways of Northern Ireland offer adjacent cycle ways as well as numerous other activities that you can enjoy as part of your trip, such as canoeing, horse-riding and walking.

For your cycling trip, Northern Ireland offers many routes. These vary from quiet country lanes surrounded by beautiful scenery to routes that will take you close to the hustle and bustle of the main cities whilst still in the comfort of traffic free paths. The routes consist of both on and off road, with 774 miles. If you are looking for a long-distance route why not try the coast-to-coast challenge from the Irish Sea to the Atlantic Ocean? Northern Ireland is easily accessible for tourists, with 3 main airports (Belfast City, Belfast International, and Derry) and a number of sea ports.
