The campsite is situated within the Trasimeno Nature Reserve, on the shores of Lake Trasimeno. It is on the border between Umbria and Tuscany which makes it an excellent base for touring in Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio. Rome, Florence, Assisi, Perugia and Orvieto are all within easy reach for a day trip or short excursion. Within the campsite grounds there are two beaches. One of these is reserved for dog owners and has a recently constructed lagoon fed with fresh water from the lake. All of the driveways are surfaced and the paths paved. All of the pitches and the 60 on site mobile homes are separated by hedges and shaded by tall plants and trees. In order to guarantee a peaceful stay for all our guests and to ensure the safety of their children, moving around the campsite grounds by car or with any other motor vehicle is not allowed. There is ample parking reserved for our customers and all parking spaces are covered to provide shade.
The campsite has been renovated recently and offers guests every facility and comfort for an ideal holiday whether you are looking for rest and relaxation or fun. There is an outdoor swimming pool with slides and a Jacuzzi, a café/restaurant, a market, a soundproofed disco. Our guests can play tennis, football and volleyball. There are also videogames and a separate play area for the very young, an internet point, etc. Nearby it is also possible to go horse riding, to play golf on two different courses, walking, cycling, go sailing or canoeing on the lake. During the summer season the are many traditional festivals in the surrounding area. |
