A directory of app. 700 primitive nature camps. These nature camps are situated in woods, in public meadows - or most often with farmers who let you use a part of their meadow or their lawn. These sites are only for cyclists and hickers, and you may not stay for more than 2 nights at each place. You should not expect any service beyond a place to place your waste, and drinking water. In some places the owner may make a bathroom or shower available (for a possible additional charge). Thus, come prepare for the primitive. This is a very nice way to get closer to the Danes as you'll most likely talk to the farmer himself - or at least to other campers who are not intimidated by the often huge numbers of other campers often found at five-star camping sites. The charge for one night may will not exceed 15 DKr (2 US Dollars). You do not need a camping pass.
