The Greenways Program supported 19 projects with 1 509 654 CZK, using money from the Ceska Sporitelna Foundation donation. These included the creation of a Greenways Information Point in the baroque mill of Jindrichuv Hradec Castle and preparing of horse-riding trails along Prague-Vienna Greenways.

The program also organised a week-long promotional cycling ride along Prague-Vienna Greenways. The cyclists were a wonderful team of cycling ´freaks´ and mayors of towns from 18 big towns along the Greenways. The mayors signed a memorandum confirming cooperation with the Greenways project. Although they didn´t sign the memorandum, directors and employees of local branches of Czech Saving Bank also took part in this promotional ride.

The Czech Senate hosted Czech and European Greenways employees for two large seminars on Greenways. On the way from Krakow to Vienna you will see new signposting and many new information panels.
