Starting 16 June 2004, a new map of the bicycles routes of Zagreb County will be released every two weeks.

These maps describe the bicycle routes, give a detailed map of the area, the altitude profile of the route, as well as information on all the sites that could be or should be visited while riding along the bicycle route. The routes are currently not marked with signs for bicyclists, however, the routes are described in great detail and the maps are precise.

The aim of this project is to connect the rich and diverse nature, culture and tourism of Zagreb County, and to present the County in a new way to domestic and foreign guests. Guests are invited to go bicycling down the less travelled roads and trails on the outskirts of the City Zagreb and to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and unforgettable vistas, all the while becoming better acquainted with Zagreb County.
