Whoever is travelling with children, should begin the „Gartenträume“ [Garden Dreams] Cycle Tour in Magdeburg with a visit to the Elbe Meadows Park. Here in the Millennium Tower important discoveries from 6,000 years of human history are re-enacted by experiments. Afterwards the young touring cyclists can romp on the climbing wall, on the fitness course, in the nature playground as well as in the play house. On the Elbe Cycle Route in Magdeburg one cycles through the historical Herrenkrug park, remodelled by the garden and landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenné in the 19th century, and the town park Rotehorn on the Elbe.
