The long-distance cycle route Berlin - Usedom is now complete: 350 signposted kilometres rich in contrast connect the metropolis and the Baltic Sea island. Leading at first through the quiet idylls of eastern Brandenburg and West Pomerania await at the end the seaside resorts of Usedom with their inviting promenades and grand villas. Underway, in the nature park Stettiner Haff, in the Ueckermünder Heide or in the Uckermark attract unknown places and treasures. And already a good distance before Usedom cyclists find beautiful and still quite unknown beaches. The eight stages on good negotiable ways between the capital and the sunny island are - with a length of 30 to 60 kilometres - very family friendly. The West Pomerania regional tourist office has published a brochure on the long-distance cycle route Berlin-Usedom as well as a leaflet in German, Polish and English languages. The Internet address http://www.radweg-berlin-usedom.net is also new, on which from stages and accommodation to sights and tour operators everything of importance about the cycle route is presented clearly and at the same time in great detail.
