Cyclists who are journeying between Xanten and Detmold sooner or later encounter the approximately two thousand year old "Roman Route". A bicycle tour in this area is doubly worthwhile this year: A great photo competition takes place for the first time in 2007. Photos which reflect the historical character of the Roman Route are sought. Both pictures of the charming landscape along the Lippe at Xanten on the Lower Rhine through the Münsterland and Westphalia-Lippe to Detmold and photos with cyclists are desired. The first prize is endowed with 300 euros. 200 or 100 euros await the second and third placed, respectively. There is no right of appeal. The deadline for submission is October 31st, 2007.
