The new accommodation directory for Lower Lusatia is now out. In this brochure, which will be valid for two years, almost 230 accommodation and catering enterprises from the regions Guben, Forst (Lausitz), Spremberg and Senftenberg present themselves. As a special service this year for the first time motorcycle-friendly enterprises are specially indicated. Thirty-nine enterprises were checked by their respective tourist offices, for example for bike parking possibilities, drying rooms for clothing or nearby maintenance facilities, and have received this title. “So that our guests recognize at a glance which houses comply best to their wishes, of course additionally those hosts are indicated again which are particularly cyclist friendly, participate in the “Brandenburg Quality Service” initiative or are prepared for the special needs of people with physical restrictions,” says Kathrin Winkler, managing director of the Lower Lusatia Tourist Association e.V. “As a cycling region it is particularly important to us, that with 37 bed & bike enterprises not only twice as many appear in the accommodation directory than in the last issue, but also that most of the cyclist-friendly hosts in Brandenburg recognized by the German Cycling Federation (ADFC) come from Lower Lusatia.”
