The population of Castrojeriz is an ancient iberian settlement whose population evolved from romans to visigoths, arabs, berbers, being re-populated during medieval times by people from the northern regions. It subsequently became populated by stockbreeders, land farmers, craftsmen, potters and merchants of christian, mozarab, mudejar and jewish origin. The village is now part of the Jacobean route, on the Way of Saint James.

An old house of farming with a medieval looking. Has been remodelated and decorated by Avelina Fernández and Angel Maestro. They has manteined the original structures of the edification, providing all the dependencies with an elegant and comfortable looking without loosing a rustic taste given by marvellous colour glass windows, stone arcs, woods, floors and roofs. All of that can be appreciated in all the rooms, as in the Castle room that will transport you back in history to the IX Century, with an unique view of the Castle of Castrojeriz, or the Tower room, located in the first floor of the Hotel, with a typical medieval slope roof, for a pleasure and comfortable staying
